Job Description:

Summary:
As a UX researcher, you’ll partner directly with a single, tightly integrated pod of researchers and designers to conduct creative evaluative research to improve and prepare new products and features for market. Ideal candidates have deep expertise in running remote usability studies and concept evaluation tests using a variety of platforms (UserTesting, Lookback, UserZoom, etc.). 1-2 years of experience with remote moderation for mobile app research required.

Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, PMs & engineers to identify, define and deliver usability and concept evaluation research studies
Collaboratively and independently develop and execute research studies, including coordinating with Participant Recruiting, writing and reviewing discussion guides, moderating sessions, and writing up clear reports with actionable insights
Lead various research studies throughout all the phases of the product development cycle
Contribute to product strategy, execution and go-to-market plan
May also include coordinating with research vendors to help augment the work of the research team

Skills:
Deep expertise in running remote usability studies and concept evaluation tests using a variety of platforms like UserTesting, Lookback, UserZoom, etc.
1-2 years of experience with remote moderation for mobile app research required
Experience with digital prototyping tools like Invision, Framer, Proton, etc.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes and pivots
Excellent organizational skills and experience managing multiple competing priorities and stakeholders
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time
Experience with data and utilizing numbers to define and support hypotheses
Experience with storytelling to get traction with various audiences
Experience with autonomy and decision making to balance demands

Education/Experience:
BA/BS in a human behavior related field, such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics
