Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for managing successful delivery of high level and complex projects, ensuring that project execution meets or exceeds the standards and KPI’s defined by project descriptions, scope and creative briefs.

  • The Project Manager is the primary point of contact with the customer and stakeholders leading the project from inception to completion.

  • Ensure all the lines of communication stay open between the teammates assigned, customer(s) and stakeholders – clear and consistent communication amongst the whole team is critical

  • Oversee projects throughout all phases of creative development and help drive them to a successful completion.

  • Obtain project team member assignments, input and update project details, scope, milestones and estimate into Service Request System and PM tools.  

  • Ensure statement of work and creative briefs are complete and actionable with a clear understanding of project objectives and desired results for the project. 

  • Schedule and facilitate project kick-off meetings as well as regular meeting cadence. Collaborate with customers and project team to establish project milestones and deadlines.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules; ensure customer and team are kept up-to-date throughout lifecycle of project. Work with project team to develop contingency plans.

  • Develop and deliver project cost estimates in consult with the creative team. Communicate scope, timing and/or budget changes with customer. Regular monitoring and reporting of costs back to customer. 

  • Establish project file structure for project storage within our Library Server

  • Advise and coach customers on department processes, standards, and policies.

  • Orchestrate and manage reviews with customer as well as project team.

  • Help remove logistical barriers to allow for smooth project development by creative team.

  • Maintain a positive and productive work dynamic for the customer and project team.

  • Conducts project retrospectives (after action reviews). Assemble data to measure project effectiveness.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 7+ years of professional experience preferably in project management in a high-volume creative

  • services environment (agency or high-tech company)

  • Thorough understanding of creative and production work for range of deliverable types

  • Well spoken, effective communicator (verbal and written) and open communication to team, customer and stakeholders at all times

  • Exceptional organizational skills and love of process

  • Excellent communication and Customer relationship management skills

  • An ability to understand complex issues and learn quickly

  • Adaptability, flexibility, and creativity

  • Leadership skills and the ability to prioritize projects and negotiate schedules with Customers
