Job Description:

Our Fortune 100 client is looking for an experienced Digital Content Consultant to serve as a content editor, Content Management System (CMS) expert, and publisher for a variety of their external facing member and client web properties. In this role, you will join an existing team of content managers and specialists within their User Experience team. The key objective of this role is to collaborate with team members and product owners to confirm and prioritize requirements, implement web page content requests, document approvals and project details, and support and guide users of the CMS.

Ideally, we would like the new team member to be a critical thinker, organized, and comfortable handling an active backlog of requests. You will have experience working with at least a few Content Management Systems and experienced in publishing and deploying content in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement day-to-day implementation and publishing, collaborating with multiple teams.
  • Communicate feedback and obtain approvals on tasks and projects.
  • Implement content requests using multiple Content Management Systems and Deployment tools; in-house and out of the box software.
  • Track and document requests, projects and approvals.
  • Work with content that may include light code, specifically; HTML, Markdown and JSON.
  • Load and deploy media assets on the web servers.
  • Build and maintain template style websites and pages.
  • Troubleshoot broken links and pages.
  • Onboard users into the CMS and assign permissions and roles.
  • Work directly with engineering teams to coordinate and deploy release content.
  • Identify and communicate issues, bugs and enhancements related to the various CMS and Deployment tools.
  • Prioritize and address high volume of requests via Outlook and JIRA.

Requirements:

Desired Candidates will bring:

  • 3+ years’ experience creating, editing and publishing webpages and content via Content Management Systems.
  • Experience with Alfresco and Drupal are preferred but not required.
  • HTML and Markdown.
  • JSON knowledge a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Strong trouble shooting skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills as several projects will be in motion at a time.
  • Track record of learning and applying new tools and technologies quickly.
  • Successful history of balancing priorities simultaneously, while working under tight time constraints and meeting deadlines.

Additional skills are a plus but not required:

  • Experience with code or multi-environment CMS deployments are a plus.
  • Knowledge of content taxonomy and content model concepts a plus.

Successful candidates will be required to pass a drug test and background check prior to starting.
