Job Description:

Our client's US channel partners account for a significant and growing portion of annual sales resulting in an increasing importance of these strategic relationships and the Partner Communications Marketing (PCM) team. With a growing portfolio of more than 60
key partners nationally, including major carriers, retailers, and financial institutions, the company is seeking a talented communications expert to drive US partner marketing communication strategy, planning and execution. The US Partner Communications Manager will help build and execute US partner communication strategies and guidance. They will also guide the development of innovative partner marketing strategies and outstanding communications that feature the company’s products or services. Crafting how the company shows up within our partners' physical and digital environments is among the strategic work you'll be charged with! This role requires extensive collaboration across local and worldwide teams both internally and externally with our partners.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop deep understanding of the brand, the partner’s brand, and the US market to help drive an innovative partner communications strategy and amazing partner creative for products and services.
• Work across the organization to understand both macro trends and comms-specific insights and results for product and services. Synthesize learnings into insights to drive optimization of future efforts, internally and externally with partners.
• Work with partners’ marketing teams to identify and develop comms strategies and plans, including advertising, digital channels and the partner’s owned marketing channels in-store and online.
• Lead the development and delivery of communication workshops with partners’ senior marketing teams and agencies.
• Manage quarterly fiscal planning to ensure budgets and resources are allocated to support key Partner Comms initiatives.
• Inspire and contribute to the large global network of Geo Partner Communications Managers.

Key Competencies
• 8-12+ years account management and/or client-facing project management at a creatively-driven ad agency or in-house marketing communications firm.
• You possess deep understanding of brand communications and digital marketing - from strategy to execution to analysis of results.
• You can delve deep into a partner’s business, marketing strategy and consumer insights, to understand challenges and find opportunities.
• You have passion for great work, you can see potential and nourish it and have a tremendous ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders to drive that work forward.
• You a successful track record of developing strong relationships with cross functional teams, building and collaborating on great work.
• You have experience working with creative teams, building and collaborating on great work.
• You thrive being a part of a cross-functional team yet also have the ability to lead.
• Experience with integrated communications and account/client relationship management.
• Experience working within a recognized creative/design-driven organization is strong plus.
• A highly detail-oriented team player with persuasive/negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of marketing and channel environments and curious about trends and future developments in this area.
