Job Description:

We are hiring a Retail Project Coordinator in Portland for our global outdoors client.

Currently remote and some on-site Must be local to Portland. This team will be doing an Onsite/Remote hybrid model come Spring 2022.

Day to day:

  • Retail Development: Opening new brand stores, visual merchandising in brand new stores, in store marketing, ordering fixtures, confirming floor plans, etc.
  • We need someone to coordinate each project, keep the timeline, confirming details and communicate, help hold team members accountable, cross functional with IDR and GBT teams.
  • Work with our vendor in Prague who manufacture all of our retail fixtures. + 1 vendor in China.
  • Our North America team works PST, global partners match our time zone; occasional evening meetings.

Tools and Systems needed:

  • Workfront (ideally project management functions within Workfront).
  • Will be viewing assets using Adobe Creative suite; they will NOT be creating, but if they are proficient in making slight edits, tweaks, rendering using AutoCAD, InDesign.


  • 2-5 years of retail development and project management experience on retail projects; international experience preferred but not required.
  • Must have expertise in Microsoft suite- Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Needs experience with Adobe InDesign and Acrobat, and ability to open DWG and AutoCad files, using adobe Illustrator. Knowledge of performing basic tasks on AutoCad, SketchUp, Photoshop, and 3D. modeling/rendering is a plus.
  • WorkFront experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in presentation skills to communicate ideas.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization is a must.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • International experience a plus.
  • Apparel or Footwear would be a plus but not required; Consumer goods retail products.
