Job Description:

This role will support the Studios Franchise team by overseeing and influencing creative execution across multiple lines of business and departments including, but not limited to, consumer products, theatrical marketing, home-entertainment, and partnership campaigns.


• Work closely with the VP of Franchise, filmmakers, and Studio Marketing to establish an over-arching Franchise strategy for each title to share with internal and external partners. This includes, but is not limited to, synopses, guardrails, character guidelines, biographies, episode guides, filmmaker priorities, and editorial content.

• Manage routing and approvals of a high volume of creative submissions including promotional partner campaign elements such as TV spots, packaging elements and social media, marketing/social media creative, home-entertainment packaging/marketing materials, consumer products style guides, publishing items and toys/collectibles.

• Plan and organize partner set visits, either in person (when it is safe to do so) or virtually.

• Review all asset requests from internal and external partners.

• Ensure creative adheres to the Studios brand and marketing positioning.

• Be prepared to present creative ideas with context and insight to  leadership and stakeholders.

• Work collaboratively with teams across the company including Studio Marketing, Integrated Planning, Consumer Products, Publishing, Creative Services and Partnerships.

• Maintain active communication with the filmmakers on each title to ensure that production updates and asset development are being communicated to internal and external teams.

• Must maintain communication with legal and be cognizant of legal restrictions in regards to: talent likeness and licensing restrictions.

• Work with filmmakers and digital team on each title’s reference assets to ensure updates are being made in a timely manner, guardrails are being upheld and the assets are being shared with the appropriate teams across the company.

• Attend marketing meetings as needed to collect notes/feedback to share with the teams.

• Actively participate in weekly creative calls with internal and external teams across the company.

• Build strong relationships with teams across all lines of business within the company.

• Manage one fulltime coordinator and help in their career development. Assign tasks, goals and work collaboratively on projects.

Basic Qualifications:

• Highly organized and comfortable in a fast-paced environment, ability to prioritize a large volume of projects.

• Knowledge of the brand and Studios films/productions a must.

• Ability to route and track creative feedback and approvals from high-level distinguished colleagues and effectively communicate to various vendors and internal teams.

• Must be detail oriented, proactive, organized and have the ability to follow-up often and in a friendly and courteous manner.

• Ability to prioritize over-arching franchise strategy, guardrails, and key dates when reviewing all creative.

• Must understand the high level of confidentiality that comes with working at a studio and discern, with guidance from the VP of Franchise, what can and cannot be shared with partners in accordance with guidelines and set dates.

• Must be able to collaborate with others and engage in creative, out-of-the-box thinking.

• Prior experience in production, post-production, marketing, and/or brand management needed.

• Must thrive under the unique brand of pressure.

• Understanding of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote is needed.

Required Education:

  • Bachelors, or equivalent work experience

Additional Location Information:

  • 1st preference is to have candidates in local Los Angeles area. Team is willing to consider candidates anywhere in US if they are willing to work west coast hours from 8-5 or 9-6 PST.
