Job Description:

This company is changing the way people watch movies and TV shows. From one service, we're delivering versatile ways to watch hundreds of thousands of titles on the web, mobile and tablet devices, and hundreds of internet-connected TVs, Blu-Ray players, set-top boxes, game consoles & other connected devices.
The Video UX Design team is seeking a highly motivated UX Designer focused on creating and helping to maintain a design system. In this role you will work closely with other UX Designers to build out a component library that will continuously evolve our mobile experience and raise-the-bar for delivering experiences our customers love.
You are a talented and experienced designer who knows Figma inside and out, including features such as auto layout, variants, and prototyping. You are well-versed in top design systems and can build responsive components with an eye towards scalability. With exceptional problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills, you can translate mocks and page templates into usable, nested, smart components.
In order to be considered for this role you must have your portfolio URL with recent design system or library work done in Figma in your resume.

Responsibilities:
· Build out responsive components in Figma from specs created by UX team
· Create and help maintain a design system of nested components (tokens, atoms, elements, templates, etc.)
· Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications within individual components that meets needs of Android and iOS developers
· Work within existing design systems and be able to help evolve them to meet the needs of our users
· Ensure that all components are designed with accessibility in mind so that the experiences are optimized for all of our users

Basic Qualifications:
• An online portfolio showcasing advanced knowledge of Figma; specifically a strong ability to create complex, interactive components
• 3+ years of design experience – bonus if the work was in design systems or multi-modal experiences
• Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate a bias for action in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
• Fluency in best practices for device-based interaction design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques in general
• Bachelor Degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
