Are you ready for that next big thing in your career? How about helping us build and scale an amazing product design practice at one of the most health care brands in the world…and one of Fortune’s Most Admired Companies? Our client is embarking on a bold agenda to transform health care and empower millions of customers on their path to better health. We are looking for passionate, driven people who want to join a growing team to make a difference in people’s lives. You will be in on the ground floor of innovation that aims to reinvent the health care experience.

In this client-facing role, you will be working on next-generation web, mobile, and in-store platforms; delivering copy and content in support of next-generation platform development which will help millions of people navigate and manage their healthcare across a family of products and services. Achieving this goal requires collaboration with teams of UX and UI designers, researchers, content strategists, engineers, and managers from product and marketing throughout the design process — from strategy to pixel-perfect design. At each stage, you will advocate for our customers and ensure that the final product meets user needs.

In order to be successful in this role, you need to be a well-rounded writer and adept at creating clear, concise, and on-brand copy across a range of web experiences and other transactional touchpoints. Your writing (and mastery of voice and tone) will compliment the visual style, interface, and interaction flow of applications to enhance the user experience. You’ll have demonstrable experience writing and editing text for application interfaces to help facilitate user navigation, including instructional text, UI labels, confirmation screens and error messaging. Finally, you exhibit impeccable communication skills that you leverage to ensure smooth and efficient collaboration with your other team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Create app, mobile, web, SMS and email content aligned to the content strategy, brand voice and tone, business requirements and digital standards.

  • Write and edit text for application interfaces to help facilitate user navigation, including instructional text, UI labels, confirmation screens and error messaging.

  • Proactively identify and communicate issues and proposes solutions. Work directly and collaboratively with Designers, Product Owners and Engineering.

  • Manage and prioritize projects with multiple stakeholders. Manage deadlines and deliverables across concurrent projects.

  • Help maintain and evolve our voice and tone guidelines. Create and maintain a comprehensive library of content standards and be a champion for best practices

  • Lead content audits to identify opportunities and drive consistency across all products. Perform review and analysis of existing content across identified flows to identify elements that would benefit from testing and/or optimization.

  • Participate in work planning and effort estimation based on requirements, complexity, and capacity.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of writing experience in a corporate environment (experience within healthcare a plus). At least 1 year of UX writing or content strategy.

  • Self-starter who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and stay focused when faced with changing requirements.

  • Superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills; can fit a complex idea into a handful of words.

  • Experience working with subject matter experts, content reviewers, editors, legal and compliance, and user experience teams.

  • Ability to make edits directly in Figma or Sketch would be a plus.
