Job Description:

This company is inventing the future. We are looking for a motivated UX researcher with excellent communication and people skills. Strong candidates will demonstrate a rigorous research approach in a fast-paced environment. The team is looking for someone to establish an evaluative program of rolling research cutting across a wide host of product areas focusing on the creation aspect of virtual reality. This role will mainly focus on qualitative studies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, PMs & engineers to identify, define and deliver meaningful product features

• Collaboratively and independently develop and execute research plans

• Lead a rolling research study end to end to help teams evaluate important features and flows

• Contribute to product strategy and execution

• Manage research vendors to help augment the work of the research team


• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

• Experience with structuring insights to define and support hypotheses

• Experience with storytelling to get traction with various audiences

• Experience with autonomy and decision making to balance demands


• BA/BS in a human behavior related field, such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics

• 4+ years of experience in UX research preferably in a consumer tech company

• Experience in one or more phases of the product lifecycle, from early generative research – to ship – to in-market UX research
