Job Description:

As the Director of Content Production, you will support all content creation to drive omni- channel brand experience juggling multiple projects in all phases of production. Overseeing the day-to-day activities of both the internal and external teams, the successful candidate will have a passion for collaboration and excellent communication skills. Reporting to the Executive Director, Content Production and Operations, you will manage all aspects of photo shoots, budgeting, cost management and budget reconciliation.

About the role:

  • Ability to support Executive Director with all content project needs including scoping photographers and talent, casting, bidding and awarding all aspects of pre-pro while identifying and resolving production problems with ingenuity and a “can do” attitude
  • Provide leadership and guidance in all phases of production managing a growing team of producers, production coordinators and studio staff
  • Manage communication and regular reporting to key stakeholders on all high priority development and production budgets, schedules, and delivery.
  • Manage agency relationships and budgets
  • Spearhead the build out the in-house content studio overseeing all aspects of implementation, staffing, process and procedure
  • Develop standards, processes and best practices for innovative content creation, distribution, and repurposing
  • Strategize to ensure the creative vision is produced and delivered successfully while meeting all creative, operational, schedule and financial targets
  • Source, hire and lead production teams and crews, establishing clear goals while developing and leading through the production process


  • 10+ years of production experience in a management role
  • Ability to navigate and lead calmly through ambiguity and change
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to juggle priorities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines with upbeat urgency
  • Solid project ownership, decision-making, relationship management, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be a diplomatic and impactful communicator
  • Strong relationship-building skills; ability to work with and effectively manage a variety of people
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to juggle priorities
  • Detail oriented and organized; mastery of call sheets and production tracking
  • Established network of photographers, talent agencies and production houses a plus
  • Solid understanding of visual branding, design and content development processes
  • Works well under pressure and with moving deadlines
