Job Description:

The Post production supervisor will be the informed captain re: editorial post talent and post operations. Accountable for oversight from footage deliveries to supervision of linear editorial, GFX, and onlining materials needed for final delivery. This position will also be responsible for maintaining scheduling and booking communications, and take the lead on outreach to post production freelancers (editors, ae, mixer, colorist) 

● Onboards and supervises post support roles to all projects as needed and shepherds them through the process on projects. Supervises post coordinators in sending holding and booking emails to post contractors 
● Keeps all active workflow documentation up to date and accurate 
● Update and maintains Booking Calendars 
● Works with the tech / infrastructure lead to ensure footage is delivered and uploaded to post team after any shoots or self-submitted content windows close 
● Responsible for making sure projects are set up and ready to go for post artists 
● Ensures cuts are posted and links shared for all reviews 
● Supervises post wrap process including uploading of final deliverables to GDrive inclusive of all R+C docs 
● Supervises archival across all projects 
● Handles small-scale projects as a project manager / post producer as needed

● Leaving notes on mix and color deliveries when project team / producer is unavailable 

● 5-10 years of experience in post production vertical 
● Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects workflows and troubleshooting techniques. 
● Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written, articulating issues in a professional and timely manner 
● Ability to communicate effectively & tactfully with managers and other stakeholders at the company 
● Must pay close attention to detail, understand written & oral instructions, maintain confidentiality, and problem solve. Not afraid to ask questions 
● Working knowledge of post production pipeline and work streams. Has a great understanding of technical terms and processes, and humility re: when to ask for clarification / additional learning resources 
● Exceptional organizational skills, and multitasking abilities (i.e. juggling multiple tasks / communications at once) 
● Ability to work well under time constraints and meet deadlines. Maintaining a positive attitude, focusing on the work and problem solving 
● Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
