Job Description:

Elevate creativity and effectiveness of all external communications by adhering to the “voice” of this beauty retailer, in line with overall brand positioning, across all external print and digital communications vehicles. Collaborate with Copy Team, Marketing Managers and other departments to translate business objectives into sales-driving promotional communications with a compelling call to action. Work closely with Creative Team to ensure that copy and design reinforce one another to maximize overall impact of all Marketing materials.

Support copy, editing and proofreading needs across the entire organization.
Conceptualize and develop innovative and impactful themes, headlines, tag lines and body copy for all online and offline promotional communications including:
Promotional events
Store signage
Email / Direct Mail / Text Message campaigns
Print catalog
Website & mobile app
Shows & Events
Internal/HR initiatives
Proof all marketing materials prior to going to print or being posted online.
Assist with proofing the brand and State|RDA monthly promotional catalog.

2+ years creative copy writing and editing experience; Retail, Advertising or Marketing copywriting experience a plus.
Proven ability to develop innovative commercially-oriented copy with a compelling call to action and tailored to different target audiences.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with designers to maximize impact, effectiveness and originality of all materials through critical feedback, creative brainstorming and receptiveness to trying multiple approaches.
Able to accelerate multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment without missing deadlines.
Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail.
Bachelor’s Degree in English, Advertising, Marketing or related field.
