Tech Director – Cloud Services

offerings that are the foundation of our game. You’ll be empowered and given autonomy. Your
ideas will matter.
Build, enhance and maintain new and existing services.
Set and maintain product(s) technical vision and technical roadmap for our service
Define and drive stability and reliability requirements into engineering efforts.
Identify technical opportunities within the studio to innovate and / or become more
Research and assess technologies.
Prototype to support products, tools and processes.
Instill a devops process mindset and rigor into the team.
Consult with external technology providers.

At least 10 years of experience.
Expert services programming skills, including Node.js, Rust, Go, C++, AWS
Strong understanding of full stack development for games (Client & Server).
Deep knowledge of common data structures and algorithmic solutions.
Deep knowledge of software design practices including modular architecture, event-
driven architecture, and software design patterns.
Strong performance optimization experience
Strong problem solving / debugging skills.
Ability to define, direct, and assess work for yourself and others.
Passion for making games.
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Office365 and Google Suite proficiency.
A mindset of continuous improvement; humble and ambitious.
Prior experience in a startup environment or small business.
Adaptable, with a good sense of humor.
