Job Description:

-Run a live radio broadcast, both live and recorded
-Review, prioritize, and track digital assets
-Independently execute and use discretion to escalate issues in a timely and appropriate manner
-Consistently strive to review the current operational workflow and identify efficiencies
-Manage the music library and assist with digital asset management and archiving including transferring, renaming, attaching metadata, adjusting, backing up and uploading
-Quality control, prioritize, and track digital assets
-Independently execute and use discretion to escalate issues in a timely and appropriate manner
-Work closely with the content team, engineers and broadcast manager to troubleshoot metadata and/or audio issues.

-Ensure that the content (both live and on demand) meet all requirements, while providing a quality listening experience for the user.

-Monitor and report a daily log, including audio and metadata discrepancies in the stream

Skills Required

  • Ability to execute a live broadcast, make quick decisions and operate with grace under pressure 
  • Incredible organization, attention to detail, communication and leadership skills
  • 3 years experience with radio broadcast automation systems (WideOrbit, Nexgen or similar program)
  • Minimum of 3 years audio editing proficiency (Audition, ProTools or similar program) 
  • Innovative approach to problem solving, troubleshooting and technology
  • Must be able to maintain accuracy with high volume tasks
  • Must escalate any issues in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Minimum 3 years of experience dealing with digital assets preferably in a music or technology related environment.
  • Superior familiarity with studio equipment 
  • Ability to troubleshoot and work under pressure
