Job Description:

A major tech company is working to provide financial services that will enable people to access and participate in a blockchain-enabled financial network. They are building a hub of financial services, products, and solutions that connect everyone, everywhere, creating greater opportunity for all. The mission is to create a simple, borderless global currency and financial ecosystem that empowers billions of people. The company’s Marketing Strategy & Insights (MS&I) team supports the marketing organization and cross-functional partners with research, strategic analysis, and market and competitive insights. The company is seeking a business analyst to join the MS&I team on a temporary assignment from November 2021 - October 2022. The ideal candidate would have a background in strategic analysis, prior experience with supporting the development of go-to-market strategies, and excellent communication skills.


  • Monitor market trends to inform business and marketing strategy development
  • Analyze data on consumer behavior, market size and growth to uncover actionable insights and assess the attractiveness of new markets, product use cases, target audiences, and marketing strategies
  • Develop cross-functional relationships across the company and collaborate with colleagues in Research, Product, Marketing and Data Science to ensure analyses are robust and primed to have a direct impact on product and marketing planning
  • Prepare reports and presentations as needed to disseminate learnings across the organization

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a specialization and/or coursework in business strategy, marketing, analytics, or related field
  • 5-8 years experience in a strategy, business consulting, or marketing strategy role at a tech, media, or financial services company
  • Strategic thinking skills with demonstrated ability to structure and analyze complex market strategy problems
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate analytical learnings into strategic insights and present findings to stakeholders at all levels across the organization
  • Highly organized, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Excel, Powerpoint and Google Suite

Desired Qualifications:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a master’s degree in business, marketing, analytics or related field
  • Experience conducting primary and secondary research, and familiarity with multiple syndicated data sources
  • Familiarity with advanced data analysis, visualization and business intelligence tools such as SPSS and Tableau
