This Company's Marketing Operations team is here to inspire and enable world class creative work. We lead programs focused on Agency Management, Production Operations, MarTech and Business Affairs. We are your business partner with an eye toward marketing consistency and oversight, with knowledge of the full marketing lifecycle from idea generation to execution. 

Role Description:
As an Assistant Rights Manager within Marketing Operations, you are working across marketing teams using your organizational skills and usage rights knowledge to assist in populating the digital asset management system. Your understanding of the rights lifecycle beyond the initial production will enable us to safely store and track all creative assets and facilitate re-use across teams. You thrive in fast-paced, team environments and are comfortable pivoting between multiple projects at any given point in time. Problem-solving comes naturally and your ability to build consensus is a key strength to your success.

Top 5 Daily Responsibilities:

  • Locate, organize, and ingest rights information for a backlog of content intended for upload to the digital asset management (DAM) tool. 
  • Point of contact to aid individual teams/agencies with ingesting their own rights information and answering general inquiries
  • Connect the dots between missing projects/information and agency/team onboarding efforts
  • Liaise with Asset Managers and assist with organizing and uploading content as needed
  • Assist with onboarding/training and office hours

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3 years in a Business Affairs, Producer, or related rights clearance role 
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities. 
  • Must be able to recognize potential risk related to rights handling and escalate as needed 
  • Must have the ability to communicate promptly, professionally, clearly in person and via written correspondence. 
  • Must be able to demonstrate a strong attention to detail and be able to enter data using correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using a DAM tool or contract management system (doesn’t matter which one) with flexibility to learn a new system. 
  • Experience with global rights terminology and understanding that definitions differ culture to culture, and how to translate that information into standardized metadata. 
  • Embrace user training. 
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, solve complex problems and scale effectively across a large organization and highly distributed and often, remote team.
