Job Description:

Aquent's Client is actively seeking a full-time and experienced marketing professional who will drive key global industry marketing initiatives such as manage our executive speaking program, key tentpole moments, and cross-team programs that map back to business objectives.

The Industry Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and driving a strategic industry marketing plan related to building awareness around and positive perception for the company. They will be tasked with connecting our global industry strategy with local activations. The Industry Marketing Manager role will also require an extensive amount of relationship-building—from managing our global exec program to gaining the trust of cross-functional partners and key stakeholders to drive the strategy of the company's industry presence on global tentpoles.

The individual who ultimately steps into this role must possess exceptional organizational and communications skills—and a marketing mindset that is as strategic as it is creative. The Industry Marketing Manager must be someone one who is a self starter and thrives in an extremely fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. They should possess a strong work ethic, as well as a genuine passion for marketing, measurement and, above all else, the company mission.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Thought Leadership & Content Lead
    • Understand company and organizational priorities, as well as complex product updates, and be able to translate these into narratives, sessions, and other content pieces
    • Strategize, plan, and execute global tentpoles and internal large-scale events (CES, Cannes, AdWeek, Buy Black Friday, AWLD, etc.), including: identifying speaking opportunities and speakers, managing agency resources and budget, driving alignment with cross-functional teams and getting buy-in from stakeholders
    • Support content development and executive speakers in alignment with company and organizational priorities
  • Global Executive Outreach Program Lead
    • Develop and execute executive speakership strategy for the organization to ensure adequate speaker placement at the right industry moments with high impact
    • Refresh and re-evaluate the program based on business needs
    • XFN partnerships and planning
    • Support strategy development and program execution for the entire Global Industry Marketing team, especially as it relates to business priorities
    • Develop marketing plans for different priority initiatives, identifying new opportunities, engaging with key industry organizations and partners
    • Manage contracts, POs, budget, and deliverables
    • Support Industry Intelligence program by identifying emerging marketing trends across competitors, tech industry, ad industry and relevant policy developments, as well as supporting its scaling
