Job Description:

Seeking a content producer specializing in video and television. This role centers around working with varying creators to tell their authentic stories. Collaborating with directors, editors, and freelance production partners to create inventive and engaging content.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the production of all company branded video and photo content
  • Collaborate with the teams on refinement of branded content
  • Partner with a third party for execution 
  • Oversee all stages of branded video production including creating scopes and estimates, presenting to clients, maintaining budgets, hiring freelancers, creating pre-production decks, writing shot-lists, managing post-production, and tracking actual costs
  • Work with EP to help grow our network of reliable video production companies and freelancers
  • Help manage the day to day schedule of freelancers, directors, editors, and shooters for all branded content
  • Manage branded video producer and branded video PA
  • Conduct weekly 1:1s with all direct reports
  • Develop and oversee proactive projects for all direct reports
  • Improve communication and collaboration between sales, marketing, client services, branded content, and video teams
  • Hold monthly critique meetings to innovate Genius branded content and continue to optimize and refine the production process
  • Participate in brainstorms, provide production budgets, and contribute to marketing pitches
  • Develop processes and best practices for Branded Content
  • Maintain calendars for all Genius branded content videos
  • Publish branded content videos

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience with branded photo and video content
  • Project Management experience including creating scopes and estimates, presenting to clients, maintaining budgets, hiring freelancers, creating pre-production decks, writing shot-lists, managing post-production, and tracking actual costs
  • Highly organized
  • Strong communicaton skills
