Our Financial Services client is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to help with a variety of products that guide clients on their investing portfolios, financial planning and retirement services. This team loves to put themselves in the shoes of the consumer and help educate individuals on how to protect their financial future. They are all about innovation of products that provide education to their clients.

Position details:

  • Looking for talent with 11+ years of rich interaction design focused on digital products 

  • Experience with Workshop Facilitation, Design Thinking and Qualitative Research techniques and methodologies that bring value is required.

  • Experience with all aspects of a user-centered interaction design process, including user research, developing user flows, creating wireframes, conducting usability tests and creating annotated design specifications. 

  • Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team within an iterative process and an Agile development methodology. 

  • Conduct the primary design activities, create deliverables and conduct QA at an expert level.

  • Experience with affinity diagramming, understanding customer journeys, Mural, Sketch, Invision for prototyping, Figma, Axure, Omnigraffle, Balsamiq, Sticky Notes are all great to have. 

  • Create design solutions with a multi-faceted team, taking into account how digital, physical, and service channels work together.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing across functions, teams, and various levels of management including senior executives, customers, and industry partners.

  • Experience crafting a project vision, execution strategy, and client relationships.

  • Visualize ideas in a clear form (sketch, diagram, wireframe or prototype) and provide appropriate level documentation of reasoning and rationale from research and user needs.

  • Set priorities and expectations of activities, timing & deliverables, with the project team and prioritize activities.

  • Communicate status and agreements with the project team, UX managers and escalate items appropriately.

  • Undergraduate degree (required): BA / BS in design-related field, social sciences, or closely related discipline.

  • An online portfolio demonstrating interaction design process and thinking is required.
