Data Visualization/Information Designer
We are looking for a collaborative and inspiring individual to join the Global Marketing Customer Experience team who has a keen understanding of how to turn complex data points into a purposefully-conveyed, cohesive and consistent story across multiple customer segments and highly-varied data.


You’ll take research data and strategic insights and create a visual design to present the information as a user journey.

Lead the team in translating user research results and business requirements into valuable, product-design decisions and detailed day-to-day work for the team

Conceptualize, translate, design, produce, and maintain information in an easy-to-consume, consistent, visual framework for multiple customer segments covering diabetes management
Collaborate with project leads to explore and build an infrastructure for information design and dynamic data reporting
Accurately translate information into a visual format that reinforces the data and allows business leaders to easily comprehend and analyze results in order to make sound decisions
Translate existing experience/journey maps and supporting data into a cohesive framework
Develop a program that allows users to easily and methodically examine different components of several journey maps simultaneously to discover or reveal opportunities to improve the current customer experience
Participate in workshops with the business teams to gather system-level information and coordinate expectations of design deliverables
Design low/high fidelity mockups and potentially interactive prototypes following industry standards and trends
Help teams and researchers strategically communicate essential insights and execute visual communications to stakeholders
Assess challenges in data communication and synthesize research results into deliverables that are accurate, visually-compelling, easily consumable, and purposefully structured
Work directly with researchers to analyze trends or discrepancies in data sets and uncover opportunities for future studies that will allow us to better reach business objectives

3-6 years minimum experience working in the realm of information design/visual storytelling
Extraordinary visual and verbal communication skills
High-level data analysis and synthesis skills
Leadership abilities, we will be looking to you to help build a robust information design infrastructure
Self disciplined/ great management skills as there will not be a PM interfacing with this role
Strategic and executional skills
Must have adequate equipment to work remotely
Fluency in: G-Suite, Miro, Adobe Creative suite, Figma (or a similar prototyping tool)
