Job Description:

Hiring a Senior Program Manager for a beauty brand in San Francisco with 5+ years experience 5+ years experience in account, project, or program management in marketing. Must have excellent technical skills – MS Office (specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Smartsheets, Box, Workfront, ProofHQ preferred.

As the Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end execution of marketing programs, from strategic planning phases through creative execution, production, delivery, and implementation.

Programs may include deliverables across all marketing channels

  • events
  • in-store
  • OOH
  • print, digital, video, and social media

Manages program schedules and deliverables; proactively communicates expectations and milestones to all cross-functional team members. May manage one or more direct reports, assigning their projects

and tasks.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages end-to-end omnichannel marketing programs, across online and offline channels

• Creates and publishes comprehensive schedules and sets interim milestone meetings,

integrating traditional and digital media touch-points in the process. Proactively monitors

progress to achieve deadlines and results

• Fosters partnerships with Marketing, Digital Marketing, Creative, Production, Store Design,

Merchandising, Product Development, Resourcing, and Delivery Management. Clearly and

pro-actively communicates requirements, deliverables, and timelines throughout the program

lifecycle

• Closely partners upstream during strategic development with Marketing counterparts to

ensure cross-functional alignment and milestones for brief development and project kickoffs

are met

• Manages laterally with Creative on timely execution of core assets; oversees the execution of all

derivatives, versions, and translations.

• Ensures timely execution of all project assets to meet launch dates, and sees through

analytics and hind-sighting post-campaign launch

• Manages day-to-day tasks of program planning and execution:

o Communicates strategic milestones and brief due dates to

marketing/merchandising/promo partners; ensures information is available and

complete

o Populates agendas for strategic planning, project kick-off, production pre-pro, and

creative review meetings; facilitates

o Opens jobs and builds job folders with project info; updates as jobs evolve and

maintains final program archive of job info

o Tracks schedules, updates reports, and communicates program status to key

stakeholders through weekly status meetings

o Ensures product delivery for photography is tracking to program schedule

o Identifies photoshoot needs across channels and partners with Creative and

Content Production for photoshoot execution and retouching milestones

o Routes creative to marketing partners and ensures feedback is clear, actionable and

received on time.

o Facilitates all versioning, manages handoff expectations with delivery management

and digital/retail production

o Ensures completion of all creative assets and tracks final hand-offs, development,

QA, and live dates across all channels

• Identifies program risks early on and convenes cross-functional partners to align/mitigate solutions

• Monitors and advocates process; identifies gaps/improvements to work more efficiently

• Demonstrates ownership/investment in the work; has clear understanding of business goals

and cultural

• Has a good understanding of budget and co-op funding; tracks program budgets and

facilitates conversation between Creative, Marketing and Production if/when costs impact

design &/or budget

• 5+ years experience in account, project, or program management in marketing required

• College degree or equivalent experience preferred

• Project management experience required; agency experience preferred

• Excellent technical skills – MS Office (specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Smartsheets, Box,

Workfront, ProofHQ preferred

• Heavily people-oriented: effective relationship-building skills; ability to cultivate strong partnerships

across functions to bring people together toward common goals and consensus

• Strong and effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; confidence in

leading/facilitating cross-functional team meetings to achieve common results

• Exceptional organizational skills; detail-oriented; has creative sensibilities.

• Strong multi-tasking and time management skills; ability to troubleshoot issues, juggle multiple

programs, and prioritize accordingly

• High energy and flexibility in a constantly evolving team environment.

• Passion for Sephora, our programs, clients, beauty advisors, and 360 marketing
