Aquent’s banking client’s is in the early stages of building a design strategy group from the ground up within its Experience Design Studio.  They are seeking a Creative Strategist to work with this strategy team on innovation projects.

The in-house Experience Design Agency supports internal clients across all Key Bank segments and platforms. The Creative Strategist will define human centered design projects for internal clients across the organization. You’ll be the primary contact, ensuring that strategic projects are planned and completed and that the work is high quality, on time and on budget.

Seeking an enthusiastic evangelist for Human Centered Design and creative processes. You’ll drive solutions that help internal partners achieve business outcomes and drive strategic objectives.

 

Responsibilities

·       Use the Studio's 5-step Design Thinking process to plan and facilitate research, analysis, creative ideation, prototyping and testing of innovative ideas and solutions

·       Collaborate with the project team, including an Experience Design Lead and a Researcher, to deliver excellent user-centered analysis and idea generation

·       Work with client to identify feedback, data, and metrics to map the success of user experiences

·       Create or oversee creation of reports, analysis, and design artifacts for outcomes of design thinking and creative exploration activities

·       Lead and facilitate human centered design activities with internal clients, with special consideration around coaching and enabling clients to lead and extend the work themselves

·       Collaborate with team and other cross-functional leaders to identify what strategic and design thinking exploration work is needed

·       Expand relationships with existing internal clients by continuously proposing human centered design solutions that support their strategies and enable their business objectives

·       Contribute to the business outcomes and thought leadership of the client deliverables

·       Support User Experience Leads in the Studio by understanding the work they are doing and helping to forecast the needed Human Centered Design work for their end users and clients

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a human centered design or creative role within a design, digital or consumer agency
  • Strategic thinking with strong business acumen; able to identify opportunities to leverage design to drive business outcomes on behalf of internal clients
  • Ability to grasp and synthesize complex issues that reflect a deep understanding of an end users’ needs, values, and behaviors
  • Adept at problem solving and finding new ways to build team and client relationships and solve problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfort with engaging with partners and stakeholders to build relationships and rapport
  • Fluency in the human-centered design process from qualitative research and synthesis to ideation, prototyping, and implementation
  • Experience leading a multi-disciplinary design team
  • Experience managing clients and partners in an early-stage environment
