We are hiring a Sr. Graphic Designer in Digital for our global retail/ecommerce brand. 

  • Remote based SF Market preferred. West coast okay however, some travel for events could take place in SF. 
  • Must have an online portfolio to be considered 

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Graphic Designer, Digital creates best in class designs that address strategic business objectives supporting the  global E-commerce and digital marketing efforts. They maintain relationships with selected partners, understand their business objectives and strategy, and are able to utilize that knowledge to create designs to address the strategies – assuring the objectives have been met with the proper tone, messaging and design. They are experts in digital media requirements/technology, manage their work to the highest possible standards of production for all web, mobile, and email deliverables. The Senior Designer, Digital consistently seeks to enhance the level of creativity executed on projects and works with the Art Director to ensure deliverables meet all brand standards and requirements.

• Successfully implement and infuse brand guidelines into all designs created and maintain consistent creative standards when presenting work
• Completion of all assigned projects on time and on budget
• Successfully implements the Global Brand Marketing Priorities into objectives and applies &Co expectations to deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT

Contribute to the development of digital brand standards and production guidelines which will exist as internal marketing communication tools for a variety of content producer audiences
Design digital content, version layouts and run quality checks on all assets prepared for digital (includes E-commerce, social, digital, CRM, mobile and various media platforms), ensuring that assets are compatible with corporate standards related to visual style/branding guidelines.
Collaborate with creative partners to develop concepts, and strategic ideas that can be effectively executed within digital channels, and potentially other mediums where the opportunity arises.
Receive direction and present proposed design/advertising solutions while meeting deadlines on a variety of projects simultaneously. Ensure work is reviewed/approved before presentation.
Present work to peers, partners and management in a clear, professional manner. Where appropriate, include research that will support chosen strategies.
Work with external vendors to provide creative feedback on outsourced digital projects and communicate brand updates to these vendors as needed
Demonstrate global cultural awareness with regard to content crossing global borders and leverages consultant resources, as required
Maintain an up to date and organized set of files for project archive and utilizes the departments digital assets management systems and file servers.

TECHNICAL

Keep up-to-date with digital technology, proposing new technologies and sharing this knowledge with the team.
Adhere to standards in color quality and specifications
Ensure all design layouts are optimized for web (banners, sales page, emails, promotions) and ready for hand off to coding and development teams.
Complete retouching on files required for internal presentation and work with vendors for final post-production delivery.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Adhere to project timelines and partner with project management to mitigate and escalate work issues and impacting parameters for project deadlines.
Attend department, status, direction, presentation and feedback meetings to offer creative input and ensure that all assigned work is communicated and informed back to relevant partner.
