Job Description:

Packaging Project Manager up to 20 hours a week!
 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Assist Category Leads with admin duties on packaging design projects
• Align with Project Manager and Category Leads to obtain creative brief and execution deliverables
• Open projects in Aquent's project management tool and assign people to tasks
• Help estimate projects and help manage approved project budgets
• Monitor project details on a weekly basis, inputting costs into project trackers (Google Sheets)
• Assume smooth project transition from the design phase to the production phase by working closely with Project Manager, Category Leads and production
• Lead weekly Hot Sheet status meetings as needed, under direction of Project Manager
• Attend weekly status meetings and retain information needed to update/monitor project status
• Assist in pulling files and images from server; knowledge of file types (.ai, .psd, .jpg, etc)
• Work with Project Manager to assist in onboarding new team members
• Use Shutterstock and related sites to purchase images needed for projects, under the direction of Category Leads and Project Manager
 

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 2 years of Junior PM or Traffic Mgmt experience, preferably in Package Design/Branding
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
• Strong visual, written, and oral communication skills
• Packaging Production knowledge is a PLUS
• Working knowledge of Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and basic Project Management programs (e.g.Workfront, Monday, etc) or ability to quickly learn
• Basic working knowledge of Adobe Suite or ability to quickly learn
• Broad understanding of environmentally responsible design and packaging
• Highly organized and detail oriented, works with little supervision
• Manage tasks and deadlines
