Job Description:

This role facilitates vfx artists and technicians in an award-winning studio. You’ll be focused on the day-to-day technical support needs of the team. You'll be backed up by an experienced team of engineers, technicians, and administrators, all tasked with supporting the creative endeavors of the studio.

- DCC Application Support
- Setting-Up Artist Workstations
- On-boarding and Off-boarding Artists
- Troubleshooting macOS
- Asset Management
- Basic Network Troubleshooting

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • The ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time. 
  • Ability to learn rapidly. 
  • Ability to distill and document repetitive processes. 
  • Experience with Digital Content Creation applications on macOS.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with macOS.
  • Experience using and/or supporting DCC applications such as Maya, Cinema 4D, Nuke, Adobe Suite, V-Ray, Octane, and Redshift.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Box, Quip, Slack collaboration and productivity tools.
  • Able to self-manage and work independently.
  • Able to handle the pressure of a production schedule.
  • Able to work on-site in SCV.
  • Experience with python and bash scripting desired.
