Our Leading Railroad client is looking for a Marketing Communications Coordinator! 


Work cross-functionally on developing Marketing Communications strategies that support business goals
Create impactful messaging that effectively communicates the actions that our client is taking to ensure our service is meeting customer expectations
Lead the production and review process of customer communications that address service and operating conditions on the clients Network
Develop relevant, impactful messaging that supports the communications objectives
Manage the execution of a variety of deliverables, including print and online collateral, trade show/event materials, video/interactive communications, social media, and presentation development and speaker support
Work on periodic content refreshing of the customer section of .com and sales support materials available on the Communications Resource Center (CRC)
Lead and manage the content planning for customer events, symposiums, industry events and meetings and tradeshows
Serve as a counselor and advisor to business unit leaders

Thorough understanding of Corporate Communications and Marketing Communications processes, tools, techniques and best practices
Communicates ideas in a clear, concise and understandable manner, verbally and in writing
Experience leading creative agencies
Strong leadership and creative skills
Demonstrates personal organization, planning and time management skills
Sets a high personal standard for work
Ability to effectively support and interact with all levels of management across the enterprise, observing confidentiality when required, while being flexible and adaptable to dynamic schedules and time pressures
Experience with development, management and production of annual Marketing Communications plans, including print, interactive and multi-media/online web content within a specified budget
2-5 years of relevant experience in Journalism, Marketing/Corporate Communications or Advertising with emphasis on client services and implementation of communications programs
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, or Communications preferred
Experience with Business to Business (B to B) marketing communications preferred
Understanding of logistics management and transportation/rail operations preferred
