We're looking for a Webcast Producer for our consulting client.

Producer, Virtual Events

As an experienced webcast producer, you are a creative problem solver who manages virtual events from consultation with internal clients through managing the technology during the live presentation. You’re an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to advise senior leadership and presenters of on-screen techniques and on creating the right visual aesthetic so they look and sound good on camera. You’ll gain an understanding of the clients’ business objectives, recommend presentation techniques and solutions and provide guidance on the flow of the presentation.

Your key responsibilities

You’ll ensure that events are deployed in a timely and quality manner and that appropriate resources and technology are in place for the success of an event. You’ll be responsible for meeting organization, setting-up the event, acquiring resources, designating roles, organizing rehearsals, testing video and audio, uploading the presentation and running and troubleshooting technology and software during the live presentation. You’ll conduct consultations and manage client relationships while navigating conversations with knowledge and insight towards business solutions. You’ll advise internal clients on presentation techniques and best practices for communicating their content during the live event and provide recommendations on integrating slides and visuals into presentations.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Comprehensive knowledge in design, digital trends, innovation and technology with the ability to rapidly learn new technologies on a frequent basis and guide others to do the same
  • Excellent project management skills including managing multiple projects, preparing and managing event budget, timeline and estimates for project deliverables, tracking expenditures and status

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's degree in video/film production, mass communications or a related discipline
  • 3 plus years of experience in video production, webcasting or virtual events environment
  • Advanced knowledge in the operation of modern webcasting production and streaming video technologies, tools and processes (Zoom, Microsoft Teams Live Events, Webcaster and On24 and other upcoming technologies)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 with a solid understanding of various digital and interactive software programs and user interface design for mobile and web products
  • High-level of executive presence and the ability to build solid relationships with senior leadership and internal clients
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot and problem solve in high pressure situations

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience working in a virtual environment in professional services or corporate environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
