Our large investment firm client in Baltimore is in search of a Marketing Project Manager for a long term role. This role will be on site in the fall of 2021.

Here are the Top 5 responsibilities for the role:

Advises internal clients on operational process(es), such as fulfillment, print services, and production. Assigned to a broad client base and can provide the full range of standard operational services. Actively participates in campaign planning meetings to ensure a thorough understanding of campaign objectives, timing, and necessary collateral (print, digital, etc.)

Develops production/service plans across a wide variety of types and complexity that align with campaign objectives. Presents to client and leads negotiations to land on the final operational plans to support the campaign. Outlines the advantages and disadvantages of the presented choices, ensuring stakeholders understand the effects on project cost and timing.

Determines availability of internal resources and performs cost/benefit analyses for outsourcing work to vendors. Researches appropriate vendors/suppliers and prepares technical specifications and solicits bids. Awards vendor/supplier contracts and monitors performance, ensuring the client's satisfaction. Coaches vendor to improve performance by identifying quality issues or nonconformance to established service-level agreements.

Conducts regular reporting of operational activities for assigned campaigns. Manages the production schedule(s), taking steps to adjust resources and timing when challenges arise or changes occur. Seeks to anticipate unforeseen issues and prepares contingency plans accordingly.

Ensures execution of operational plans for assigned campaign(s) include the appropriate regulatory provisions. Coordinates control activities such as confirming adherence to brand standards, inclusion of regulatory requirements/disclaimers and overall quality of production results. When deviations are observed, oversees remediation, and sees through to conclusion. Recommends changes to standards and protocols for monitoring compliance to address ongoing issues.
