Delivery Specialist, Paid Media and Social (Contractor)

This role is based in San Francisco, but is open to fully remote candidates who are willing to travel 10-15% of the time.


Minimum Requirement

●       2+ years of significant focus on paid media and social media


The Delivery Specialist, Paid Media & Social reports to the Media Team Lead and is accountable for delivering high-quality, timely, and efficient digital customer experiences through paid media and social media advertising within the Digital Engagement & Delivery (DE&D) team. This team is composed of experienced digital experts who partner across Commercial, Medical and Government Affairs (CMG) to orchestrate and deliver integrated digital customer experiences that drive measurable business outcomes.


This role has two primary accountabilities.

●      Working with other delivery managers to manage advertising operations that ensure all campaigns are tagged, trafficked, and QA’ed appropriately before, during and after launch.

●      Working with partners in DE&D and marketing to develop advertising strategies that support business objectives and executing those campaigns.


Key Responsibilities:

●      Enthusiasm to dig into advertising operations, including link tagging, content QA, building matrices, and other key operational components that support overall success of media programs

●      Delivers media campaigns with operational excellence by following existing processes across multiple brands and campaigns.

●      Works closely with agency partners to analyze, track, optimize, and update media programs across all channels

●      Critical eye to detail throughout ad QA process to ensure error-free delivery of content and programs

●      Delivers quality production by adhering to existing processes and standards

●      Works closely with marketing and other DE&D partners to develop media strategy and tactical execution for assigned brands

●      Drives customer- and patient-centric media service delivery, optimization for impact and efficiency

●      Partners with the marketing team to translate marketing messaging and strategy into integrated, media marketing strategies and tactics that support and drive the business goals of the brand and organization.

●      Creates project plans and ensures key milestones, dependencies and timelines are proactively communicated across stakeholders and partners




●      Experience with multichannel digital marketing and deep familiarity with paid media and social media marketing technology, processes, and tools

●      Strong planning, critical thinking and problem-solving skills to meet goals within the constraints of time and budget

●      Bias for action, strong sense of immediacy, and drive to achieve objectives

●      Adept at vendor/agency relationships  to maintain healthy partnerships and deliver operational excellence

●      Curiosity about media data and analysis

●       Learning mindset and ability to identify/apply learning to other situations

●      A strong attention to detail for media operations and execution



●       Bachelor's degree

●      3+ years experience working in digital/software marketing, digital production, marketing technology, or marketing operations related functions

●       Pharma experience or experience in a highly regulated industry is a plus

●       2+ years of significant focus on paid media and social media
