Aquent is looking for a Copywriter for our Fortune 500 Financial client in Wilmington, DE! This is a full time, starting remote assignment with full benefits - medical, dental, 401K and more. We want a writer that also loves thinking through highly usable and intuitive experiences mixed with creative cleverness. Someone who cares about the customer experience and will constantly strive to make it better.
The successful candidate will partner with art directors to produce a variety of projects. They'll be involved with everything from making small tweaks to existing work to concepting and presenting new and unique marketing assets. They'll collaborate with strategy and business partners along the way to build and refine their ideas to help grow and develop the brand.
What you will bring to the role:
Copywriting Expertise: Equally comfortable writing a clever headline as you are writing explanatory or short narrative copy. A clear understanding of tone and the ability to adapt your writing style based on the message and your intended audience. Conceptual thinking and the ability to brainstorm and narrow ideas to uncover the most promising solutions. Understanding how your copy can come to life visually in layout. Ability to use creative strategy to develop effective integrated campaigns and customer communications. Ability to deliver on-brand, high quality work on schedule, using effective personal time management skills.
Communication Skills: Articulate both verbally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner with minimal guidance; comfortable and successful presenting to a broader audience, including associates at higher levels.
Customer Focus: Consistently and effectively apply knowledge of customer experience to role internally for partners and externally for customers.
Ability to Influence: Can effectively influence stakeholders outside of immediate team. Uses influence to drive new ways of thinking in your area and back up recommendations with data.
Job Specific Skills: The ability to autonomously execute work connected to your specific role with minimal guidance.
Judgement: Balance inputs and experience to prioritize and influence decision making for your

∙ Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
∙ At least 3 years of copywriting experience
∙ At least 4 years of marketing copywriting experience
∙ Financial industry experience
