Job Description:

Our large nonprofit in Wash, DC  is looking for an experienced Editor to help create high quality content for use on digital platforms.

This is a full-time, 12-month contract position.

The writer will focus on key issues in the organization’s priority areas including personal technology, digital literacy, connectivity, online privacy and other topics as needed. Ideal candidates have a demonstrated ability to report, research and write about complex subjects in effective and appealing ways.

Previous experience in technology reporting is a must.

Candidates should have a keen interest in subjects of interest to the 50+ population and should be well-versed in video, social media, emerging platforms and digital media best practices, including search optimization.
