We are seeking an experienced illustrator to play a flexible role on our product design team. We are a group of interaction designers, visual designers, writers, and UX researchers who are working on Stadia, a premier video game platform, designed for everyone.
In this role, you’ll join the Visual Design team to define, evolve, and maintain Stadia’s visual design language, with a focus on illustration. In addition to being an advocate for user-centered design principles, you have a keen eye for illustration, iconography, typography, color, and layout, and a design portfolio showcasing exceptional work that is relevant to the responsibilities and skills listed below.
Help define a consistent & scalable illustration style with the visual design team
Refresh Stadia’s illustration assets library across TV, mobile, and web.
Create and maintain a comprehensive illustration guideline
Ensure design integrity from production to final product and follow through with stakeholders to correct any issues.
Support design documentations and ensure design files are up-to-date with latest components.
Create and organize production assets and presentation materials
5+ years of illustration and graphic design experience
Proficiency with Figma.
Technical experience using Lottie to bring illustrations to life with motion
Ability to explore a wide range of concepts, at varying levels of fidelity, as part of the creative process.
Ability to take abstract concepts to concrete, polished visuals
Exceptional organization and time-management skills
• 3-5 years of illustration and graphic design experience
• Ability to explore a wide range of concepts, at varying levels of fidelity, as part of the creative process

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional organization and time-management skills
• Proficiency with Figma.
• Basic knowledge of UX and product design methods and practices.
• Experience collaborating with UX and/or product teams (motion, interaction, UX research, engineering, content strategy) on technical implementation.
• Experience in an entertainment product design/development setting.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
