We are looking for a Marketing Strategist to help our Energy industry client's transportation and electrification energy programs!
The Marketing and Digital Communications Strategist will evolve the way Company markets programs and services to all business and residential customer segments in order to drive marketing innovation and enhancements to the customer experience, maximizing the value of existing customers and measuring/ optimizing Company's customer relationships. The ideal candidate will possess marketing strategy and analytics, strong proficiency in marketing measurement, dashboarding and ROI measurement.

Rates, programs and services that align with our customer’s energy lifestyle
Promote adoption of new technologies such as electric vehicles, battery storage, smart home devices, etc.
Meet Company business objectives and California Public Utility Commission’s mandated goals
Help Company meet operational excellence commitments
The candidate will accomplish this by leveraging multiple cross-functional teams comprised of members from across Company as well as external partners, vendors and stakeholders. Working in collaboration with Product / Program owners, the candidate is responsible for all aspects of campaign development, measurement and execution of Company’s marketing, digital and customer lifecycle nurture programs. It is expected for the candidate to work both at a strategic and tactical level, placing a strong focus on innovation, technology enablement and performance. Moreover, this role will require a heavy bias towards the application of marketing automation (Martech), data literacy and project management.
Develop strategic marketing plans for Company’s programs and services, skewing heavily towards Business-to-Business (B2B) lead generation marketing and sales programs.
Develop and execute targeted customer acquisition marketing campaigns across all programs and services, including automated offer management and vertical campaigns that are driven by advanced analytics & data modeling and build in performance measurements to monitor and report on effectiveness, leading to the continuous improvement of user experience and overall ROI
Proficiency in marketing technologies, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, to execute automated communications.
Develop multi-channel go-to-market implementation plans that are grounded on strategic channel/media planning & execution.
Recommend and improve the digital customer experience to ensure customer adoption of programs and services. Demonstrated experience managing the full lifecycle of digital progrems is critical, including project management, design, build, test, deployment, reporting and optimization.
Develop and manage the project schedule for implementation plans
Develop and track performance metrics to measure success of marketing/ digital plans, including but not limited to operational efficiencies (eg. cost per acquisition).
Works independently, understands the utility landscape and can work in a fast pace environment.
Required & Desired Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in marketing strategic planning, direct response marketing, or database marketing:
- Project management in the Marketing or Advertising field
- Proficiency in executing automated offer management utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud (2-3 years)
- Vendor management
- Bachelors in Business or Communications minimum
- Strong interpersonal and soft skills with proven record of effective collaboration and cross-functional alignment:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience communicating to a wide group of stakeholders in written communication
- Experience communicating/speaking to all levels of an organization
- Experience developing and making presentations for internal and external audiences
