Job Description:

The Production Artist/Designer works under the guidance of Sr. Art Directors while collaborating with other team members, to create visual solutions that inspire, inform and/or captivate consumers across digital, print, and social.

Essential Responsibilities
 Create design deliverables on a variety of projects including but not limited to: new business development initiatives, corporate events, internal and external corporate communications, brand identity, web initiatives (email campaigns and banner ads)
 Attend kick-offs on all new projects
 Follow a creative brief and detailed project requirements
 Develop concepts and designs while keeping in mind the strategic business goals of the project
 executes the creative concepts that the art director comes up with, and brings it to life
 Design according to specific brand guidelines pertaining to each client
 Prepare work for client presentations and present internally to team members and managers
 Collaborate with other team members and Account Managers
 Communicate and follow up with the assigned Copywriter, Sr. Art Director, Account Manager and Traffic Manager on each project
 Follow process and procedure from traffic to proofreading
 Multi-task, prioritize, problem solve and work independently
 Work on multiple projects with constantly changing deadlines and often at a high rate of speed
 Communicate challenges to peers and managers—and help solve them
 Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
 Image retouching, clipping paths and additional image manipulation

 5+ years of professional experience working with an advertising agency, design firm and/or in-house creative team

 Master of MS Office applications (primarily, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
 Need to balance the line between a graphic designer and production artist with a strong mix of creative and technical know-how. Extremely proficient in Adobe CC software. Able to work quickly but also remain extremely detail-oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to handle numerous projects in a fast-paced environment. Version graphics for various store formats and prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications.
 Make vendor supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production.
 Package and preflight files for release to printers or media partners.
