Our client, a high paced, high growth SaaS company, is looking for a ROCKSTAR Director of Paid Acquisition to fill one of their most critical newly created positions

The Director of Paid Acquisition will serve as the thought leader and day-to-day lead of the Paid Media team. You will be responsible for analyzing business performance, driving measurable outcomes, and providing clear recommendations to executive leadership. To be successful here, you must have hands-on experience strategizing, implementing, testing, analyzing and optimizing large-scale acquisition campaigns across all major paid channels including search, paid social, display, programmatic and more. 

You will be responsible for growing new customer acquisition through existing paid channels, identifying and testing new channels, and maximizing return-on-ad-spend (ROAS) from all of our paid media efforts. As a member of the Marketing team, you will align with multiple teams across the organization including but not limited to Product, Content Marketing, Web Strategy, and Design.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the Paid Media budget from forecasting to evaluation
  • Scale new and existing paid media channels to increase customer acquisition and maximize return-on-ad-spend (ROAS)
  • Own the holistic view of our paid Media efforts, defining clear KPIs across the marketing funnel that enable the team to clearly gauge investment effectiveness
  • Design, implement, test, and scale paid strategies across channels including regular experimentation that optimizes creative, audience and channel effectiveness
  • Manage a team of Paid Growth members and outside agencies

We look forward to hearing more about your:

  • 7+ years of Paid Media experience, with a heavy emphasis on Digital Marketing
  • 2+ years of proven people management experience including building, growing, and managing teams of paid media digital marketer direct reports and agency partners
  • Experience managing a multimillion-dollar budget and forecasting performance trends
  • Experience leading and developing growth strategies across channels and audiences, with a heavy focus on digital including but not limited to Google Analytics, Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube, Gmail), Bing Ads, Paid Social (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.), and podcasts
  • Deep knowledge of key measurement tools (MTA, MMM) and strong analytical skills. You will be responsible for measuring and reporting on all key paid media metrics including return-on-ad-spend (ROAS), customer acquisition cost (CAC), CAC Payback, Conversion Rate and more
  • Demonstrated success scaling innovative programs in fast-paced, dynamic organizations
  • Passion for paid growth and growth hacking
