If you are a writer and editor passionate about creative culture and community this is the job for you!  In this role you will cultivate content for the online community of the world’s largest developer of creative applications and tools. 

This community is where creative professionals find the best and most relevant content, experiences, and tools to learn and grow as a creative, thereby driving the use of the client’s apps and services.

Actionable and inspirational content comes in many forms: tutorials, creative challenges, livestream events, inspirational profiles, free resources, and more. To produce such a range of content, the company collaborates with artists around the world.

The community is primarily interested in photography, illustration, design, UX/UI, and videography, with skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced.

This position is fully remote. You must live in the continental United States and available to work west coast business hours. Preference given to candidates in the Pacific or Mountain time zones.

  • Actively engaged with creative culture and able to express a cultural perspective in writing
  • Savvy about the company’s creative tools and applications and passionate about promoting them
  • Tuned into pop culture and sensitive to relevant global conversations
  • Experienced at developing content ideas and crafting content that speaks to other creative people
  • Equally adept at collaborating and working independently
  • Capable of juggling multiple projects and priorities

Experience required:

A background writing engaging, accessible, long-form editorial copy about creativity and creative culture for publications, agencies, or other avenues. The Editor will also have professional experience editing other people's copy.


For a typical project, the Editor attends meetings to gather input from Stakeholders, Studio Managers, Creative Directors, and the Editor in Chief. Based on this input, the Editor helps develop the expression of one or more pieces of content that meet the objectives of everyone involved. 

The Editor may interview the subjects and write the content; if the Editor assigns the project to another writer, the Editor will perform developmental editing and copy-editing on the draft. The Editor oversees aspects of content production, including gathering relevant artwork, reviewing page layouts with the web production team, and working closely with Studio Managers to maintain feedback continuity and keep the content on schedule.
