This position is remote until safe to go into the office. 

The Digital Strategist is responsible for enabling our business franchises with effective, relevant and compelling digital marketing strategies. This individual utilizes subject matter expertise and applied knowledge to build a reputation for BASE as valued partner, one that delivers integrated plans that are impactful and deliver results. This role provides the opportunity to work across global and local teams to develop a strong network, to learn the business and to learn the products/solutions. The opportunity is also there to work with and learn from some of the world’s leading technology companies in the execution of plans.

This is a strategic role, not an activation role. 


  • Be the primary Digital Strategy SME-consultant for the assigned business franchises
  • Provide marketers with strategic guidance in the ideation, forming and execution of their integrated digital marketing plans - develop strategy decks and present
  • Promote collaborations with BASE and other functional teams (Communications, MSA, Access, etc) to ensure cross-team synergies
  • Partner with Marketing Tech & Activation team to ensure the timely execution of plans
  • Build and foster a global-to-local network that enables co-creation and an inclusive mindset
  • Partner with Analytics teammates to measure, report and optimize marketing plans, content and activation – to increase digital marketing effectiveness
  • Enable and support collaborations with Agency of Record and other vendor partners
  • Be an ambassador for the brand and branding standards
  • Enable and support adoption of enterprise and local tech platforms/solutions
  • Remain current through investment in digital marketing capabilities and competencies
  • Promote BASE’s value and impact to enhance the org’s reputation


  • Excellent ability to form winning digital marketing strategies and implementation plans
  • Strong experience in utilizing analytics to support strategies and to optimize plans
  • Experience with Search, social, email and lead generation for ecommerce
  • Experience with Salesforce, Google Analytics, Marketo, Veeva preferred

  • Experience in the healthcare industry
  • Solid corporate and business knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence without authority, including demonstrated experience gaining senior-leader perspectives and support
  • Strong ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability in prioritizing multiple projects

Education: Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing or related field
7+ years of marketing and/or digital marketing experience
