Program Coordinator/Communications Assoc


LOCATION: Louisville, KY preference but Remote candidates will be considered

Candidates must be available Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm EST


The Program Coordinator/Communications Assoc analyzes, compiles and develops supporting data, processes and communications plans so the shared services transformation team has accurate and timely information for making strategic decisions and keeping business stakeholders informed. Work assignments can be varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.


The Program Coordinator/Communications Assoc is responsible for supporting work across the internal shared services transformation team day to day tasks, project plans, ad hoc projects and more strategic activities. Actively contributes ideas and expertise in planning, creating and implementing communication and change management solutions for business stakeholders. Organizes and prioritizes initiatives and events in terms of communications leveraging best practices of corporate style communications and project management. Understands program strategy and objectives. Creates program documentation material and content through collaboration with shared services transformation team. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.


The role will focus on:

- Developing communications and materials for successful program administration

o Develops and builds program documentation to meet internal and external stakeholder needs

o Understands what success looks like for the team and continuously supports that vision

o Anchors decisions in the consumer experience methodology


- Coordinating transformation activities

o Drives collaboration between shared services team transformation members

o Tracks and updates work stream progress on a daily and weekly basis


- Required Qualifications

o 3 or more years communications experience

o 1 or more years of relevant experience as a project manager/coordinator

o Experience developing and implementing communication strategies in corporate environment

o Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization

o Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

o Excellent active listening skills

o Proficient in creating executive communications

o Proficient in using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

Preferred Qualifications

o Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or a business related field

o Experience performing and implementing process improvement initiatives such as Lean or Six Sigma.

o Proficient in Microsoft Visio
