Aquent Studios is hiring a mid-level B2B content marketing writer for a top 10 fastest growing tech client! Strong journalism background with content marketing writing for a large tech, B2B or eCommerce company preferred.

 

This is a remote, full-time salaried position through Aquent Studios. 

 

Are you an experienced B2B content writer who’s looking to join a high-performing, fast-paced, and fun team? Are you passionate about communicating the impact of digital transformation on customer experiences? Join our client’s content team as a new editorial lead. In this role, you’ll amplify our client’s key messages via compelling content through writing and publishing blogs and content marketing assets. This role will help take our client’s content marketing strategy to the next level — with a combination of interviewing, writing, editing and project management.

 

What you’ll do:

 

Create compelling, accurate marketing content across channels:

+ Write write write: produce engaging writing — including blogs, social content, reports, and customer stories — that spans the entire buyer’s journey from thought leadership to product how-tos and adds value to the conversations happening in our industries

+ Collaborate with content strategists, creative, product marketing, social media, customer marketing, campaigns, and the brand team to ideate and write best-in-class content

+ Get up to speed on industry trends and product strategy to write content that achieves awareness and helps prospects continue on the content journey

+ Interview stakeholders such as product and thought leaders to create bylined content and marketing assets

+ Edit the work of internal writers to adhere to brand style, conversational tone, and product accuracy

 

Collaboration, tracking, and organizational tasks:

+ Be accountable for the success metrics of content and assist with new process of integrating traffic analysis and SEO into decisions about future content direction

+ Tag and track articles as required by our internal guidelines

+ Plan and maintain of an editorial calendar in Kapost, our content operations system

+ Maintain clear, organized communication to stakeholders, even as team goals and priorities shift

+ Form relationships with content contributors and SMEs across our client’s organization

+Ability to continually track and re-prioritize your own assignments in fast-moving, often ambiguous environment

 

Qualifications:

+ 5+ years experience in creating marketing content for a technology, B2B or ecommerce organization

+ Experience with publishing high-performing content quickly and with multiple stakeholders

+ Knowledge of SEO and headline- and news-writing best practices for the internet

+ Track record of digesting complicated, jargon-filled, industry-specific materials and translating them into widely appealing copy

+ Demonstrated experience navigating quickly changing priorities and projects

+ Experience with Kapost, Quip, and Camtasia is a bonus.
