Job Description:

Aquent’s financial industry client is seeking Presentation Specialists to create / update presentation materials and templates in a time-sensitive environment where accuracy is key. The Presentation Specialist does NOT have to be a designer, but should be expertise in PPT and Excel (in areas noted below) is key. ​

This is an ongoing / long-term engagement through Aquent (full time hours, W2 with comprehensive benefits offered).

  • Location:  100% remote (US only) – for a NYC based client
  • Shifts available: Must be able to work either: 8am-4pm EST OR 2pm-10pm EST
  • PPT / Excel: You'll take a MS Word test prior and then interview with the team.  (To take the test, you'll need: PPT and Excel program, internet access and a 2nd screen is extremely helpful!) 

 

Responsibilities:

  • The Presentation Specialist is responsible for creating and editing PowerPoint presentation, graphing
  • Excel charts, and for other general desktop publishing duties
  • Create multi-page / multi-section documents using templates and style sheets for pitch books, graphs, charts, and other projects
  • Candidate manages their workflow and deadlines, review all outgoing product for accuracy and quality, and needs to deliver their jobs on-time
  • Support operations with performance metrics like quality of work, efficiency of production, and utilization
  • Produce high-quality pitch books, maps, and ad hoc projects

 

Software Requirements: Expert skills in Microsoft Office Suite:

Required Skills / Experience : 

- 5+years of successful experience leveraging the full MS Office Suite (Adobe Creative Suite skills are a Plus), to deliver time-sensitive product in a professional services environment

- Advanced presentation design / layout creation and editing skills

- Can interpret complex ideas visually

- Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality and a critical eye in terms of aesthetics

- Exceptional customer service and client interaction skills

- Ability to deliver time-sensitive custom PowerPoint and Word templates, covers, advanced Excel charts / tables / graphs and maps on-time and on-deadline

- Excellent design sense and awareness of current design trends

- Exceptional customer service and client interaction skills

- Able to proof own work

- Adaptability and willingness to pitch in where needed

 

The following are a PLUS (not required):

- Financial industry experience a plus

- Proficient in ArcGIS mapping a plus
