This position is remote until safe to go into the Manhattan office. Only candidates in commutable range to Manhattan will be considered.

The J&J Design Studio (JJD) works globally across the Company’s business segments: Consumer, Pharma, Medical Device and Corporate. By utilizing the power of design, we optimize the user experience for consumers, employees, healthcare providers and patients.

Candidate Profile

Primary Responsibilities
o You are responsible for providing project status to the team, including project meeting minutes and updates, performance-to-project plan, project risks and other critical details and data as warranted
o You will coordinate scheduling and communication across all levels inclusive of the project team, stakeholders and external vendors
o You will support project planning, team coordination and dashboard updates, submission schedule for the review committee, research coordination, SharePoint management, design reviews, and agency coordination
o You have the ability to manage multiple projects at one time, and will coordinate research activities, including logistics, scheduling, planning and documentation coordination
o You will bridge design and business disciplines, evaluating and gauging appropriate risks and future opportunities

Qualifications
o Bachelor’s degree is required
o Up to 3 years of project management experience is required
o SCRUM certification preferred
o Previous experience working in a creative / design environment highly preferred
o Project management training, excellent planning and project management skills desirable
o Project management certification is a plus but not required
o Strong experience using Microsoft Project is required
o Excellent written and verbal skills is required
o Strong analytical aptitude with creative abilities is required
o Ability to facilitate the generation of detailed and accurate, risk-adjusted project plans and track project tasks, milestones and deliverables to completion
