Job Description:

 You'll help our client make a significant impact by gathering and communicating user insights across specific sectors of our client's financial services offering.

The Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for working with various internal teams to provide reporting
and insights for Marketing and Advertising purposes. The Analyst will be responsible for developing
reports, managing large data sets, overseeing data governance, and delivering metrics with an insights-
driven approach. This position will play a pivotal role in developing new internal reporting systems to
provide insights across marketing channels, with a focus on paid media and web analytics.
Responsibilities:
The role of the Marketing Data Analyst will help in the strategic data priorities of the Marketing
department for business-wide data activities, standardization, accessibility, and governance while
ensuring data & information compliance with the business’ policies and external legal requirements.
This person will aid in the management of reporting taxonomies, performance metrics & KPIs, data &
governance structure, and stakeholder reporting to provide valuable insights to promote and drive
thought leadership for the Client.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Collaboration with the Paid Media team and our Advertising Agency on ad trafficking,
ensuring taxonomy alignment and ingestion into internal data systems
- Paid Media data QA and cleansing via managing metadata tables
- Develop and manage various reports, including report design, data capture, and tagging
implementation across paid and web analytics
- Work within Paid Media platforms (e.g. DCM, DV360, 4C) as well as our internal Paid reporting
dashboards to provide insights for strategy and optimization purposes
- QA Clients' site tags and provide analytics requirements during web development
- Generate reports in Adobe Analytics utilizing the Marketing reporting framework

Qualifications:
Skills Required / Experience & Knowledge
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Approximately 2-3 years of experience in analytics or reporting, or related educational courses, with a
focus on Paid Media analytics
- Advanced Excel skills required; use of pivot tables, look up tables, advanced formula structures, etc.
- Knowledge of Paid Media platforms:
 Digital Media Channels: such as Search, Display Media, Social, Programmatic, or Native
 Third-party Ad Servers: such as DoubleClick, Atlas, Flashtalking, or Sizmek
- Advanced Analytics including MiniTab, R, Alpine, SQL a plus
- Experience with Dashboarding tools such as Adobe Analytics Workspace or Tableau a plus
Communication Skills
- Capable of conveying information and messages with clarity and precision
- Translate data into insights and actionable next steps
- Proficient in the creation of both visually and verbally engaging informative materials
Internal & External Relationships
- Works collaboratively in a team environment with internal and/or external partners
