Job Description:

Summary:

As a UX researcher in Product Foundation, you'll be responsible for conducting strong, rapid iterative research with multiple product partners to launch new features and redesigns. Research is critical to the design process, and you'll support teams in molding early product ideas into testable prototypes, rigorously evaluating their outcomes and quickly delivering insights that power the next round of development.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, PMs, & engineers to rigorously evaluate and iterate on new design concepts

• Collaboratively develop a program of research to deliver critical insights on aggressive timelines

• Scope and codify key aspects of iterative design research for consistent application across product phases

• Contribute to product strategy, execution, and go-to-market plan

• Manage research vendors to help augment the work of the research team

Skills:

• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills

• Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time against aggressive deadlines

• Proven experience with common design research methodologies such as concept evaluation, card sorting, moderated, and unmoderated usability testing

• Experience with storytelling for maximum impact

• Experience with autonomy and decision making to balance demands

Education/Experience:

• BA/BS in a human behavior related field, such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics
