Job Description:

Our awesome tech client's Mixed Reality Design and UX Research team seeks a customer-
focused Audio Designer to help us define and deliver the definitive auditory vision for
Mixed Reality experiences. The team's vision is to create professional, seamless, and friction-free experiences that
enable customers to work less and accomplish more. They strive to transform
the client's powerful and complex technologies into experiences that customers will
love.

Responsibilities
As an Audio Designer, you will have the following responsibilities:
* Research, create, implement, mix, and master quality sound effects for a wide
variety of uses in Mixed Reality experiences using tools such as Wwise and Unity
* Work closely with Creative Director to craft audio vision and work through
completion; seek out and implement feedback to constantly improve and refine
your design
* Conceptualize, rapidly prototype, and develop innovative audio that work across
Mixed Reality experiences
* Record, edit and process voice over and music
* Experience optimizing audio performance for experiences ranging from PC to
Mobile.
* Rapidly prototype concepts to demonstrate your design
* Collaborate with cross-discipline peers to solve technical and creative problems
to meet key milestones.
* Demonstrate and communicate clear expectations for quality of work,
productivity, communication, and professionalism with team
* Be a positive and creative force in the team
* Create documentation against the work you do

Qualifications
Required:
* Bachelor’s degree in relevant studies such as Audio Engineering or equivalent
experience
* 5 years of experience designing and editing sound, voice, and music for
interactive software
* 5 years Technical Design experience working with Unity or an equivalent
commercial game engine to design audio for games, interactive experiences or
apps
* Create rapid prototypes to demonstrate the functionality of your design
* Ability to demonstrate UX/UI approaches for audio features. 
* Strong Experience with asset implementation and workflows
Preferred:
* Designed a User Interface in a Virtual or Augmented Reality utilizing spatial
sound
* Post-production experience in other audio related fields such as games,
television, and film
* Mobile App Development – You have created great experiences within the
technical confines of a mobile platform
* Connecting Cloud Services – You can leverage the power of the cloud through
service integration

NOTE: Design is focused on the ssytem vs. the experience. Bulk of the work is on the system audio.
