Job Description:

We're looking for a Sr. Documentation Specialist for one of our consulting clients based out of Atlanta, GA.  6 month assignment with the possibility to extend.  Remote to start until client has the all clear to return on-site.

Open to candidates in the following Locations: Atlanta, Cleveland, Charlotte, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Minneapolis, Philadelphia (secondary locations: Chicago, Tampa)

Job Description:

As a senior document specialist, you’re a highly organized and technically skilled individual with superior knowledge and expertise in all Microsoft Office 365 applications and the ability to create digitally accessible documents. You have a critical eye with attention to detail and notice inconsistencies in text, fonts, page breaks. You’re an excellent communicator with the ability to work directly with internal clients to build and maintain relationships, anticipate needs and offer options and solutions. You’ll effectively manage all phases of a project including project scope, timelines and estimates, proper documentation and status updates. You’ll partner with creative team members on document creation and organize network files and folders according to file management guidelines.

Your key responsibilities:
You can expect to work independently and productively, creating and revising large, complex client deliverables with speed and accuracy. Assignments include financial statements and various audit reports, government and business development proposals, PowerPoint presentations, SharePoint formatting, transcription, event materials and publications. You’ll create macros, master pages, style sheets, templates and table of contents and manage bookmarking, hyperlinking, XML, and field codes. You’ll ensure consistency of layout, formatting, editing, styles, and compliance of requirements throughout the life cycle of the project. You’ll incorporate revisions, check punctuation, spelling, EY style and formatting; confirm formulas for mathematical accuracy; set up and execute large/complex mail merges in Word and InDesign. You’ll apply firm branding and may revise and place graphics in various software applications including PowerPoint or Adobe InDesign. You’ll participate in training and mentoring document specialists.

• Ability to work effectively with team members and manage internal client expectations in a virtual environment
• Strong information gathering skills and the ability to relate well to others at all levels throughout the organization
• Proficient in Acrobat and InDesign, with knowledge of other digital applications (SharePoint)
• Flexibility to adjust your schedule to align with client project deadlines
• Time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

To qualify for the role, you must have:
• Associates degree in related field or equivalent work experience
• Six-plus years of document processing, production artist or related experience
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) including creating and applying styles and macros and creating digitally accessible documents
• Proficient in statistical typing of numbers, text, and tables on large complex documents for long periods of time
• Proficient in the creation of master pages, style sheets, templates and table of contents, bookmarking, hyperlinking, XML, field codes and macro development.
• Ability to produce documents with speed and accuracy with exceptional attention to detail resulting in high-quality deliverables

Ideally, you’ll also have:
• Microsoft Office certification is preferred
• Background working in financial services industry
• Experience working in a virtual environment
• Flexibility to work with multiple projects/internal clients simultaneously
• Problem-solving skills to assess project requirements, identify issues, makes decisions and provide solutions while consulting with internal clients
• Some experience working with graphic applications, such as Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
