Job Description:

This is a new role to build the L&D function for the Ads group from scratch. Looking for an SME to help lead vision/strategy, build curriculum and deliver training. Training internal Sales & Ops team (around 60 people currently). Not really a technical trainer, and L&D Manager + Sales Trainer would be a more accurate description. Likely will be involved in the selection and implementation of an LMS, thus the more LMS experience the better. A background with companies similar to eBay preferred (ie. enterprise companies, ecommerce, ads).

Learning and Development Lead 
As an individual contributor, you’ll be responsible for setting the L&D vision and executing effective learning programs
for the commercial side of our business. With your expertise, you will design, manage, deliver, and measure
programs that improve overall performance, help team members develop in their roles, and drive our business
Key Responsibilities 
Design and execute a learning and development strategy for the onboarding, training, and enablement of various
teams in the organization 
Partner with leadership to conduct ongoing needs analysis and prioritize prorams based on available resources 
Develop and design impactful curriculum and tools/resources consistent with current learning theory 
Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to translate their knowledge into comprehensive training programs,
including the definition of learning objectives, content flow, activities, and knowledge checks. 
Regularly assess learning program effectiveness and impact; evolve and refine programs as-needed. 
Evaluate potential training resources, including external partners and/or LMS platforms
