Job Description:

Our large, globally recognized, tech & financial services client is seeking a UX/UI Designer in Austin, Texas. This is a long-term contract opportunity at least until the end of next year.  There is strong potential for assignment extension and/or full time conversion. 

Our client will be redesigning their Help Center to be more Workflow oriented with new automated functionality. This re-imagining of the service experience will lead to smoother interactions, higher containment, and more satisfied customers.

Visual Designer

Must haves: 

- At a minimum 4+ years work experience focused on design (with projects focused on web/mobile, ideally with some consumer focused products) including:

  • Solid visual design skill, especially when it comes to understanding how content can modularize across a broad spectrum from full screen experiences to small component summaries.
  • Experience and/or demonstration of ability to present dense amounts of information clearly and easily for the user to parse and understand
  • Background and/or strong understanding on how to partner closely with content strategy and design teams
  • Ideally someone who has had experience taking designs from large desktop monitor sized width to a smaller mobile width, understanding that the translation to that width is not just in wrapping the content but also in the distilliation of the information presented to the user
  • Background and/or strong understanding of information design
