Position Overview:

The Software Product Development Lead will work on a mission-supporting program, managing the tools used for operational lifecycle management. This team creates custom software tools that integrate across various customer systems. As a Software Product Development Lead you will design, develop, manage, and deliver a Search and Discovery tool hosted in AWS. Responsibilities include the system administration and management of the database; daily ingestion of new records; the software to cleanse and curate the data; the latent semantic indexing tool to index the data for search and discovery; the UI for users to perform searches. Our systems operate in a Linux environment on AWS and software is written in Java and JavaScript.

Qualifications:

Required:

You MUST have an ACTIVE TS/SCI w/Full-scope Poly Clearance currently to be considered for this position.

An active TS/SCI w/Full-Scope Poly security clearance is required for this role. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS.

Also required:

  • US Citizenship, dual citizens not eligible.
  • Experience with these one or more of the following programming languages: C# (.NET 3.5/4.0), Java 1.6 (both 64/32 bit), C#/Silverlight (.NET 3.5/4.0), ASP/NET, JavaScript, Python, SQL
  • Experience working in a cloud environment with Amazon Web Services/C2S
  • Demonstrated experience working in an Integrated Development Environment (IDE): Microsoft Visual Studio 2010/2012, NetBeans 6.9/7.02, Visual Studio Ultimate 2010
  • Demonstrated experience working with one or more Operating Systems including; Windows, Linux and/or Linux CentOS
  • Working experience with Search Engines such as; SQL Server Full Text Search Engine (Boolean) and/or Content Analyst LSI 11
  • Experience working with the UI Tools such as; Infragistics, Java Script v1.3 - v1.6, EXT 4.0, Angular

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Linguistic processing technology (Latent Semantic Indexing is ideal).
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum methodology.
