Seeking a Children's Marketing Specialist to join our client's growing TV+ marketing team. In partnership with the Marketing Lead, this role will be a central cross-functional liaison among teams (Marketing, Publicity, Product, Social, Development, Production, Business Affairs, Legal) for select Children's and Family series, films and specials with a focus on handling daily workflow and execution of integrated marketing plans that drive buzz and viewership for TV+ content. You'll be a point of contact with creative partners, working with them to collaborate and communicate different facets of the campaign throughout the lifecycle of a TV+ project.
Ideally, you've participated in marketing high-profile Entertainment properties and have a strong foundation in crafting a clear and distinctive show positioning, creative strategy and informed media approach that cross-functional teams can execute and collaborate upon. You know how to tell stories, on any platform that drives fan anticipation and engagement. You listen and collaborate with internal departments/teams to align early on overall strategy and goals. Your love for children's entertainment, and television pop culture pushes you to thrive in a quick moving environment and be an excellent teammate.
-Minimum 5+ years consumer marketing experience, with prior direct responsibility for launching Children's and Family series and/or films in media / entertainment and range in working amongst the various age demographics. Experience with major brand or IP driven consumer categories (e.g. retail, toys, gaming, CPG, etc) with a real passion for entertainment also a plus. Familiarity with COPPA guidelines to inform marketing assets.
-Knowledge and experience in supporting robust portfolio of creatively led, global 360- campaigns, from strategy, positioning and target audiences to executing the tactics, both paid and organic, and delivering results at scale. You have marketing subject matter with exposure and understanding of the complete integrated marketing lifecycle.
-Experience developing brand partnerships and integrations with internal teams or 3rd parties, including retail extensions,
experiential opportunities, fan activations, and synergy promotions.
-Cross-functional collaboration across PR, Talent Relations, Social, adjacent business teams, content producers and creators
(executive producers, show runners and studio partners). Experience working directly with talent, representation and creators to partner on campaigns.
- Ability to collaborate and partner cross-functionally with internal partners in a highly matrixed organization, including product and engineering to integrate content across owned and earned platforms.
-Budget planning including working across internal teams such as creative, social, and research to track each title’s budget and
input through internal systems.
-Stellar written and verbal communication skills. Able to present ideas simply in presentations and documents across a range of partner perspectives —from creative to business
-Brings a highly strategic and analytical approach to decisions and problem-solving
-Excellent organizational, scheduling, project management, budget planning/tracking, and multi-tasking skills with proven attention to detail
-Inventive self-starter; eager to learn and grow, and bring a can-do attitude to the position
-Help prepare in-depth marketing strategy briefs for Children's and Family content including positioning and strategy materials for Children's content; audience targeting, communication strategies, research/cultural analysis; Socializing campaign strategy and Creative with key stakeholders including executive teams, development, business and product teams, producers/creators, show-runners and talent.
-Partner with social team to help develop overarching campaign social strategy, organic social promotion and digital spanning
content creation, community and audience development, production partner and talent extensions.
-Work in partnership with paid media and advertising teams across channels (e.g. TV, OOH, Experiential, Audio, Digital, Social) to launch, drive awareness and cultivate demand for new content launches.
-Assist in internal and external partner execution of multi-media creative assets that extend our content across paid, owned and earned initiatives.
-Ensure all creative materials and messaging are aligned to series/film/special positioning and the TV+ brand, and that creative is consistent across all consumer touch points.
-Support cross-functional team planning across campaigns by participating in key meetings, presentations, developing campaign recaps and updates, and using project documents, such as marketing trackers, timelines, status reports, budget review, etc. to ensure execution against goals.
-Prioritize resources, manage key deadlines, and deliverables requirements, work back schedules to build and communicate
realistic timelines for execution.
-Identify and execute brand partnerships, promotions, grassroots marketing, activations and integrations with internal teams or 3rd parties and partner with our Ecosystem on cross-company promotions including with Retail, Music, News, Books, Pay, etc.
Bachelors degree or equivalent. MBA or relevant graduate work a plus.
