AQUENT is seeking a .Net Developer (Back-end) who will join a team of 3 developers! This team does development that supports creative teams (UX designers, Art Directors, etc), having experience and a desire to connect with creatives and speak their 'language' is essential to be successful in this role. If you enjoy working in a collaborative, inclusive environment then this will be a great fit for you. The ideal Dotnet Software engineer will have experience in a regulated OR enterprise environment. 

Technical Stack: .net, .net core, php. Experience with object-oriented programming in a cloud environment. 

A day in the life: come in and update code, code maintenance, then usually an emergency will come along and all-hands on deck to get the issue resolved. You will get to building something new from scratch, as well! New development makes up about 20% of this role.

.Net Back End Developer responsibilities: 
Under the supervision of the Director, the .Net Developer designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications and components; supports and/or installs software
applications and components; works from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and maintains documentation of process flow.

Specific Responsibilities Include:
 Developing strong partnerships with all departments within the agency
 Strong knowledge of .NET Core
 Strong knowledge of Entity Framework
 Familiarity with cloud-native application architecture
 Experience writing API’s on cloud platform architecture
 Experience using Spring Cloud Configurations Server
 Experience writing build and deployment plans using Bamboo
 Knowledge of source control systems such as GIT
 Develop new .NET applications
 Work on both backend and front end development (JavaScript)
 Experience with Design Patterns
 Basic understanding of networking, DNS, Proxy, web servers
 Work with a creative team and brainstorm with others
 Work closely with Project Leads
 3+ years’ experience with .NET
o You should be a master of writing classes (OOP)
 3+ years’ experience with Relational Databases (SQL)
o Write queries from scratch
o Complex table joins as needed
 Reasonable knowledge of UNIX
Qualifications
Candidates ideally would possess 3-5 years of experience and/or a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer
Science.
